It always saddens me to see a business being a victim of it own success. Let me tell you a little story.
There were once upon a time a Medium size but efficient hosting company. It was young and loved by all, it always answered support requests from it customers fast and effectively. It used to have professional technicians that would solve any issue you have directly over live chat without you having to submit a ticket.
But over the years, the company grew larger and larger, and it started putting money over service and it customers. And Now the live chat or phone support just consists of inexperienced people that can not help you solve even the most basic of problems.
Let say a simple server restart would have them create a ticket for you to be supported by Admins over email. That wouldn't have been a bad thing if the Admins were in bigger number enough that they could actually respond to your request;
But No they do not. And by this I mean I have had ticket go unanswered for Months and to never be answered ever. Urgent Issues even will sometimes go uncared for and overlooked by the support Admins.
Their Transfer department have such contempt for their customer they just don't even Care any-more.
I believe this is the point in the life of a company where they are just rolling the money and no longer care about what and those who gave it to them in the First place. That Company Is called HOSTGATOR. and my blog is the only safe place for me to express my frustration while I slowly move my 20 or so hosting packages and domains away from a company that just no longer cares about me or my experience.
