What is a good husband, and what is a good parent?

In the past few days, I have been asked; rather challenged to define to myself what constitutes a good parent, First of all, let define what constitutes a good husband. And before I do that, here is what is not a good husband:

- A good husband is not a husband that provides for his wife.
- A good husband is not one that goes to expensive vacations with his wife.
- A good husband is not one that buys expensive jewelry for his wife.
- A good husband is not one that is super horny.
- A good husband is not one that makes tonnes of money
- A good husband is not anything that you have been told by a woman, a good husband should be...

Now that we know what a good husband is not, let define what a good husband is :

A good husband is one that is always there no matter what, good or bad.

Now moving on, what is a good parent? Just like for the husband let first define what a good parent is not :

- A good parent is not, the perfect raw model for his children
- A good parent is not a parent that buys expensive gifts for his kids,
- A good parent is not a parent that is always right
- A good parent is not a parent that knows what parenting should be until he becomes a parent...

A good parent is a parent that is always present for his children no matter what good or bad.


And finally what is a good person? A good person is a person with thoughts, feelings, words, and actions are for the glory of God.
