The Comedy Wildlife Photography Awards celebrates the very best in amusing photos of wild animals. This year's competition already has some real corkers as you can imagine.
Those entries include everything from a laughing snake to a monkey based mishap. And now the finalists have been revealed in the run-up to the overall winners being announced on 22 October.Â
Tom Sullam, Comedy Wildlife Photography Awards Co-Founder spoke about the process of selecting those finalists:
"Whittling down the list of photographs was harder than ever this year. There were so many funny pictures that had us laughing that we couldn't settle on a top 40 â€" so we're releasing the top 42 instead!  It was great to see a range of animals, from the incredibly rare to the humble pigeon. We can't wait to see what the public choose as their favourite and look forward to showcasing some of these pictures at The Photography Show in Birmingham this September."
It's not all chortles though, with the competition doing its part to support charity too. This year the Comedy Wildlife Photography Awards is donating 10 per cent of its revenue to the Save Wild Orangutans charity that's doing good work in Borneo.Â
