It's far too easy to buy a new gadget rather than repurpose the ones you already have. I know it because I've done it. In the spirit of reducing waste and saving money, though, consider what your old tech can do for you. Android phones, thanks to Google's mobile operating system and the hardware advancements in the last five years, are surprisingly flexible tools, and if you've got one lying around, it might be able to be repurposed into something even more helpful.
